3D Maryland is a statewide leadership initiative of the Howard County Economic Development Authority and the Maryland Center for Entrepreneurship to increase engagement between 3D printing and additive manufacturing and regional businesses, industry and entrepreneurs. 3D Maryland is an initiative funded through a grant from Howard County. It is designed to help build and maintain connections among producers, while fostering innovation in the 3D printing and rapid prototyping industries.
Substance151 worked with the 3D Maryland and the Howard County Economic Development Authority teams to develop a new identity for the initiative. The result is a fresh, forward-looking mark that fits the innovative organization that it represents.
“This was an exciting project, and we truly enjoyed working with 3D Maryland,” said Ida Cheinman, Substance151 principal and creative director. “It also has a personal connection for me – 3D Maryland was founded by one of my graduate advisors from Towson University, Jan Baum. I am extremely proud to be a part of this.”
