Ida brings 25 years of experience in professional services marketing and 16 years as an SMPS member and active volunteer at the chapter, regional and national levels. She has held education and programs chair positions with SMPS Maryland before becoming chapter president. She has also co-chaired programs for two SMPS NERC conferences and has served on programs committees for several others. She currently serves on the Marketer editorial committee – the Society’s award-winning bimonthly journal, reporting on current business development and marketing practices, issues and trends.
“Although I am intimately familiar with the A/E/C industry and its unique characteristics and challenges, I bring cross-industry, cross-disciplinary ideas, knowledge and experience that will benefit this role,” said Ida Cheinman. “I am thrilled to put my passion for education, life-long learning and professional development to such great use.”
