Ida Cheinman Receives the Prestigious Blue Heron Award from SMPS Maryland

Substance151 Principal and Creative Director Ida Cheinman has received the 2023 Blue Heron Award, joining an elite group of past award recipients.

The Maryland Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Blue Heron Award, the chapter’s highest honor, is presented to an individual who has made a significant impact on the chapter and the marketing profession within the A/E/C industries.

Ida has held various leadership roles within the chapter, as well as regionally and nationally, since 2008 and served as SMPS Maryland president during the 2013–14 programming year.

She continues to be actively involved with the chapter, serving on its Senior Advisory Council (SAC) and most recently helping to produce the 2023 SMPS Maryland GROW conference – a premier full-day conference dedicated to A/E/C professionals that showcases the best practices in marketing, communications, and business development.
